Hey!
Whatsup? Happy Friday to everybody! So, today MVL is going to share another
info and tips or maybe ideas? Yeah. Anything that would make you understand
what I am trying to say. Yeah. Let MVL be called as ‘I’ for today? Okay.
Well,
this is something that I got from the local newspaper from Sabah. It is the
Borneo Post. Actually it was published long time ago, but in 2012 (the second
last day before the starting of the new year). The article is talking about
fashion of course and because of that I think that I need to share it with
everyone here today! Yeay to that!
The
headlines of the news is ‘Does 2013’s
style trend spell end of trendy?’.
Well,
when you look at the topic stated on the paper, what do you have in your mind?
Is it true? Well, for me personally it is all about how you bring up the
fashion that you are wearing (you might as well bring it down) because you are
the one who wear it and you know how to make it gorgeous! Just like what we
(MVL) believe, it is all about making something cheap looks expensive and
making something expensive looks exclusive. Well, although it is a very cheap
dress you can make it looks expensive by adding on some accessories or try to
mix and match or you can also ‘modify’ them. By doing so, you can rise up your
confidence in wearing it, and most importantly it will help you to see yourself
better. When you try to make something look nice on you by not taking it as how
it is created, actually you are trying to understand and reflect yourself!
Slowly, you will know just what you want and what you need!
Going
back to the topic, let us have a look on the compilation made by The Borneo
Post on the 20’s till 70’s trend:
See?
What do you feel about it? Try to imagine yourself in each of the trend shown
in the paper, how do you think your appearance would be? Nice? Or the other way
round? Whatever it is, just remember that it is all up to you on how to make it
looks adorable!
